Senior Manager, Brand Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Formulate the overall brand strategy for destination Hong Kong. Drive core brand building to set out Hong Kong’s distinct positioning, which serves as the critical part of annual business plan for both overseas and destination marketing
  • Plan and develop an integrated global marketing framework of branding and holistic marketing plan to be well implemented or adapted across all source markets and functional teams. Drive marketing campaigns including any new brand campaigns
  • Analyse by-market consumer insights, demographics and behaviours as basis for marketing communication development
  • Act as the brand custodian and provide leadership and guidance for Head Office (“HO”) functional teams and Worldwide Offices (“WWOs”) on brand management, brand guidelines, and supervision of global brand communications, the implementation of in-market brand building campaigns and activation programs, processes and/ or new brand initiatives  
  • Explore new initiatives and build marketing partnerships to increase branding visibility and distribution to drive and achieve marketing KPIs
  • Manage creative and media agencies, HO and WWOs to ensure optimal efficiency, creativity and execution excellence
  • Assist General Manager, Marketing to prepare the annual marketing plan book, budget and the regular tracking reports to government organisations  
  • Drive the development and enhancement of marcom-related processes to enhance the overall operational efficiencies 
  • Manage the overall Brand Marketing budget and ensure to achieve optimal return on investment. Lead and control legal compliance and procurement management for projects
  • Develop the brand marketing organisation capability to increase the organisation competitiveness

 

Requirements

  • University degree holder in Marketing or other related disciplines
  • Strong marketing professional with 12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in key regional positions in multinational corporations and in running marketing units
  • Proven track record in global marketing and brand management, and hands-on experience in launching regional / global marketing and brand campaigns
  • Solid experience in the planning and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns that involve the mastering and orchestration of various marketing disciplines
  • Solid experience in social/digital or ecommerce marketing
  • Solid budget planning experience in developing budget plans for global marketing operations
  • Strong strategic thinking and marketing sense.  Able to make sound judgments from the marketing and business perspective
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with solid experience in managing a team and internal / external stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated with passion in growing the tourism industry for Hong Kong
