Executive, Research (2-year Renewable Contract)

Responsibilities

• Supervise closely fieldwork team of research agency and liaise with various control ports authorities to ensure smooth operation and the procedures are in accordance to the pre-defined manual, guidelines and requirements, so that the sampling quota can be met
• Assess preliminary sample data and validate against other source of information in order to closely monitor the profile data, identify possible causes of the discrepancies and suggest possible solutions
• Analyse the trend of visitor arrivals to Hong Kong from different source markets to formulate monthly samples targets and quota setting, monitor any change in the travel pattern and profile of visitors at the forefront of the fieldwork execution and obtain first-hand knowledge about the changes of fieldwork situation in providing timely recommendation to the management in fieldwork arrangement, research design and quality checking mechanism adjustment
• Liaise and communicate closely with fieldwork supervisory team of research agency on manpower plan preparation,  fieldwork issues and progress so that projects can be carried out smoothly and efficiently
• Maintain close communication with Performance Analysis team to ensure that users’ changing needs are properly incorporated into the questionnaire for analysis purpose

Requirements

• Degree holder preferably in Statistics/Quantitative Analysis/Mathematics/Business Administration/Social Science or equivalent
• At least 4 years practical experience in marketing research with supervisory role will be preferable
• Strong PC skills, especially in MS office and statistical software e.g. SAS, SPSS
• Strong project management skill and knowledge including fieldwork operation and quality assurance
• Strong analytical skills and detail-minded
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, well organized and has ability to prioritize and work under pressure
• Highly self-motivated with passion in growing the tourism industry for Hong Kong
• The position will be stationed at Airport Area. On-shift is required
